Clive Barker Podcast’s Scene of the Week

Hello Everyone,

It’s your good friend Rob Ridenour back with a fun new feature for all of you! Each week I’ll select a scene from Clive Barker’s movie-verse that I enjoy. I think this will be a fun way to possibly recruit some new souls into the world of Clive Barker!

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to record a commentary with Ryan and Jose on Hellraiser: Bloodline. As flawed as the film is I still enjoy it and consider it to be the third best in the franchise.

I especially enjoy the opening scene of Paul Merchant (Bruce Ramsey) summoning the cenobites by using a robot to solve the box. I thought this was a great way by writer Peter Atkins to bring them into our world without someone having to have their guts pulled out of their ass! At least the robot didn’t suffer.
