Big Update on CW’s Weaveworld TV Show!

Over the past year the CW station has been trying to get a TV adaptation of Clive Barker’s classic novel Weaveworld off the ground. The original idea that was presented wasn’t very good and strayed to far from what the book was about. I don’t remember much about the synopsis (that’s how bad it was), but after I read it I was like,”that’s what you came up with after reading Weaveworld?” Thankfully that idea was discarded and they went back to the drawing board.

A new writer by the name of Josh Stolberg  has been brought on board to do a more faithful version of the book. Another added plus is that Clive will producing as well. The press release sounds a lot more promising this time around too.

In the new take on Weaveworld,two ordinary people find themselves on a quest to find and protect a magical realm and ultimately to save all of humanity from an evil force.
