Spooky Empire Cancelled

Spooky Empire, a horror convention which was to be this coming weekend, October 7-9, 2016 in Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL has been cancelled due to the impending Hurricane Matthew.  They were originally trying to make it work around being closed Friday, but now they have been forced to cancel the entire convention.

Clive Barker / Hellrasaiser fans have that jerk Matthew to blame, as Nicholas Vince, Barbie Wilde, Doug Bradley and Simon Bamford were scheduled to be there, as well as friend of the show, Max Lichtor from the Pyramid Gallery.  But on a serious note, we hope everyone involved is safe, and that maybe this can get rescheduled.

This is probably the hardest announcement we’ve ever had to make in the history of Spooky Empire, but due to Hurricane Matthew we are being forced to cancel this weekend. We cannot put our attendees, guests, staff, and everyone involved in harms way. We tried our hardest to keep this open even for part of the weekend but it looks like Matthew wins.
