Peter Atkins E-Books Coming out next Month

Spread the love

I just finished listening to Thorne and Cross: Haunted Night LIVE interview with author and Hellraiser screenwriter Peter Atkins and as always Peter was a blast to listen too, taking jabs at himself and cracking jokes like the wild man he is. He’s a character that’s for sure.

But something that he mentioned at the end of the interview that I wanted to share with fans of his work is that apparently next month his novels Morningstar, Big Thunder, and Moontown will be released on e-book. He also hinted at a new novel but didn’t get into any specifics. If you haven’t had a chance to read any of his work its comes highly recommended from the Podcast.

These titles are a must for any newcomers!

In the summer of 1988, San Francisco is gripped by terror. A serial killer is on the loose. Twelve victims so far, all ritually disfigured. Scrawled in each victim’s blood, a single word: Morningstar… Investigating the murders, Donovan Moon and Shelley Masterton find themselves drawn into a nightmare of death, destiny, and unholy power – because Morningstar may be more than a murderer, and his victims may be more than human.

BigThunder

A dark avenger from the pages of a 1930’s pulp magazine, “Strange Thrills”, materializes in present-day Manhattan. But the Blue Valentine is not the only character coming alive in modern New York, and not even his creator’s fertile imagination could have prefigured the carnage to come.

In Atkins’s fourth Halloween horror-fantasy (after the 1999 collection Wishmaster and Other Stories), Shelley Campbell, psychic graduate student, uses her gift to help phobic and compulsive patients. As Shelley explores one mind after another, she finds a pattern of supernatural harassment that scares victims to death. Its locus is the dreamlike Moontown, which soon intrudes into Shelley’s mind and the real world.

We also had the pleasure of talking with Peter this past November. Go give it a listen if you have the time. It was a good one for sure!
