Our 2nd Stretch Goal (3rd overall goal) is the 2009 Anthony Diblasi adaptation of Clive Barker’s Dread. This is the 94 minute version, we watched the DVD.
I just gave this a listen. I had forgotten how much DiBlassi liked Fight Club, including the part when Tyler crashed a car to give the narrator a near life experience…I am still Jack’s burning rage. Spot on with the Paper Street comparison as well. DiBlassi also loves The Shining, apparently…Those homages only remind me that I could be watching a much better movie. Watching it with you guys made it much more enjoyable to touch the beast again!
