Over at the official Facebook page for Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II there’s a update from producer Gary Smart. This is sounding better and better as more news continues to come in. Here’s what he had to say:
Hey everyone
Just a quick update As you can imagine 90 hours of footage is a mammoth task to edit down to 4 hours We’ve tried our best BUT failed…
The good news is that the doc is looking likely to be a two disc 6 HOUR doc 3 hours on HR and 3 on HR2 plus hours of bonus footage – this has delayed us BUT we are currently in talks with a great distributor who are today reviewing the workprint footage.
We will then be able to send out an official press release with all the details and get you your copies of the doc
I’m sure by now pledgers have received their shirts and posters – is not please let me know

Three hours for each film!?! That’s insane. I hope the distributor they’re in talks with sees the potential and decides to back it. I must own this.
