Clive Barker Hints at Possible Lord of Illusions Reissue
Recently, in addressing the release date of the extended version of Nightbreed, Clive Barker hinted at another of his movies that’s getting re-issued by Shout! Factory.

Understandably everybody wants to know the precise release date of the Cabal cut of NIGHTBREED.We don’t yet have such a date,and for a reason that I hope makes you as happy as it makes me. The colour corrections we will be making digitally are going to be extensive,and as a consequence will take a long time, but they will be,I am certain,absolutely worth the obsessive focus we are putting upon them.And while you’re waiting there is another film of mine which is also being prepared for its re-appearance in a freshly polished state from the same company.More to tell very soon.

So Hellraiser never had a problem getting reissued, and Nightbreed we already know about, so the process of elimination leads us to believe that it will be Lord of Illusions. We could be wrong, and it could be something he produced, like Candyman. But, since the 101 Films version coming out later this month is UK region only, it makes sense that this would be the North American release. Time will tell! We can’t wait to find out.
